I have been practicing in the mental health field since 1998. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a concentration in Social Work from St. Joseph’s College and a Master of Social Work degree from Boston College. I have had a variety of experiences in the social work field including: individual therapy with children, adolescents, families and adults in school, medical and home settings, program management of a transitional living program for homeless teens and a residential treatment program for children. In my private practice, I primarily provide individual therapy for children (ages 4 and up), adolescents, and adults.

My treatment focuses include: depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, mood disorders, stress management, life coaching, women’s issues, grief and loss, behavior management and parenting support and education. I believe that as a counselor my role is to help support people in making changes in their lives that will lead to improved functioning and fulfillment.
