Licensed clinical professional counselor
Licensed alcohol and drug counselor
I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University, and am dually licensed as a Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
I have 10 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, families; those who struggle with relationship issues, chronic anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, women’s issues, substance use disorders, co-dependency and/or families suffering from the effects of a loved one’s addiction.
I have worked in private practice, public schools, an out-patient hospital setting, and day and residential treatment facilities, I most recently held a Director position for the Family Wellness Program at an in-home substance use disorder treatment organization. It is here that I helped to educate families and allies suffering from the effects of this illness.
My “clinical style” is instinctively relational, and empathetic. I believe that people have an inherent ability for self-understanding, and positive change when supported through the counseling process. This process involves clarification of concerns, educating and supporting individuals to draw from their personal strengths; seeking to help you in identifying and attaining future goals.
It is my humble honor to be a part of your recovery journey.
